30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hi Friends!
Thanks for stopping by!

Today is the fist day for the #thedailymarker30day 30 day coloring challenge that I’ve joined for the first time hosted by Kathy at http://www.thedailymarker.com.  Also you don’t have to use markers but anything from crayons to paint to watercolors whatever you have.  My hope is to just have fun and make some new friendship.

Coloring for me is not something I make time to do, so I am doing it!!  I actually started a few days before the first of this month in preparation and it has actually been fun and relaxing.  It has cleared my brain for a bit and made me focus on being still.  Which is much needed.

Just some information on me, being a wife and mom with a sick little one I may not be posting everyday but I will try to post once a week. Anyhow back to coloring...

Day 1 I used a coloring card I had from the 5" x 7" Colorista marker pad - Inspiring Sentiments
and I colored this in with Colorista markers using bright colors.
I love this sentiment “ Love Yourself”

Until next time....

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge... Fantastic Florals

Ok I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new. I have always loved Simon Says Stamps for all my craft needs and since I now have this blog I'm going to join in on Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge Blog #ssswchallenge.

This weeks challenge is: Fantastic Florals

I used Altenew Majestic Bloom Stamp set for the flower I stamped,
flower coloring using Spectrum Noir Colorblend colored pencils,
and this beautiful sentiment by hero arts called prayers.
Lastly added some gold glitter washi for some shine.

Happy crafting!

Hello

Hello my name is Sofia Garcia and I love all things creative. Aside from me being a wife and stay at home mom to four beautiful children, I love the Lord, and encouraging others. In my "me time" I create cards and have been practicing calligraphy and hand lettering. I have been paper crafting since 2009 and I've dabbled in sewing but my love is mostly paper. I have recently started documenting and illustrating my faith in my journaling Bible and in a notebook. With all that being said I decided to share my creative journey with this blog Papered Grace. After all God has made us all to create. I'm excited your here and hope to brighten your day!
